Education Alliance (ISCEA India) - SCNext a knowledge sharing initiative for Supply Chain & Operations

Nikhil brings to the table his multi-faceted experience spanning 30+ years of corporate roles encompassing
functions like global and local procurement, infrastructure creation - its business development and supply
chain management. His experience in setting-up Foreign Trade related infrastructure like Dry ports - Inland
Container Depot (ICD), Container Freight Station (CFS), domestic Food Park gave him a strong footing in
accelerating business development of India’s first Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) at Arshiya, Panvel.
He nurtures business ideas with visionary zeal for garnering market share to achieve sustainable growth
proactively, beyond benchmarks.

He has played a pivotal role in facilitating global sourcing / foreign trade of well-known MNCs & Indian
corporate fraternity in hinterland India including Cummins, Coca Cola, Honeywell, JCB, Volkswagen,
Mercedes Benz, GE, L’Oreal, POSCO, LG, Renault-Nissan, Jabil Circuits, Unilever, Lipton, Kimberly Clark,
Katoen Natie IOT, Halyard, Bajaj Auto, L&T, TRENT-Westside, Tatas, Mahindras….

Designing and successfully implementing cost-process efficient SOPs and value-adds is his forte. He has
immensely contributed in increasing foreign trade of Small and Medium Enterprises by initiating movement
of Less-than-Container-Load (LCL) and air shipments between hinterland and ports / airports.

He is widely acclaimed in auto and engineering industry for implementing global standard solutions in India.
He provided strategic solutions to global entities and their Indian counterparts like Renault Nissan and JCB.
His role included enabling regulatory framework - creating global standard infra and service solutions like
setting India Sourcing Centers for global consolidation.

His industry interface has sculpted his position as academic advisor / faculty / speaker / trainer / counselor
on infrastructure, international trade, multimodal logistics, WTO implications, export packaging, etc at
